About
Dr. Mike Felix has more than 40 years’ leadership experience in telecom and technology, changing outcomes by changing the culture through coaching, developing, and mentoring emerging leaders. Dr. Felix has held senior executive positions in both large and small companies and has led several venture-capital backed startups and turn-arounds.
Dr. Felix is author of The Diversity Dilemma, challenging the traditional and current approaches to achieving diversity while answering stakeholder demands for performance. It presents a program to develop aspiring leaders from all walks of life – equally – to be authentic and highly effective.
As a senior executive at a Fortune 50 company, Dr. Felix was a sponsor of the field operations leadership training program, speaking regularly to classes of managers and junior executives. He was also a senior advisor and mentor to several employee resource groups.
In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Felix serves as an advisor to boards and leaders of several start-up companies and non-profit enterprises. His board experience includes several technology companies, a major university foundation, a state-owned investment bank, a private venture-capital firm, a public-policy forum for the Arctic, three major ministries, and three K-12 private schools. He has also served as an advisor to nearly 20 organizations.
Dr. Felix holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida, an M.A. in psychology, and a Ph.D. in media psychology from Fielding Graduate University. He and his wife, Bethany, reside in the metro-Atlanta area and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
